Trust No One

 AND lastly, though it's not really... on the list per say for things I'm working on, it is however something I can't get out of my mind. I've been playing some Gloomwood lately and it has inspired what was already there to make 3D environments. Again for the game Trust No One (previously known by Trust me/Shishigami/Shinjiru) So I've been trying to learn Unreal Engine and create the abandoned school they would be exploring. I finally have this games idea fleshed out.


After doing some research and sitting back to really think about what I want for Trust No One, I came to the conclusion that it's an RPG 


I found this image online that really helped me come to that conclusion. Ironically from the game Corspe party. Which almost inspired me to make it a 2D top down game. Cause that's something I could likely do. 3D is ... well new... very new to me. I've used 3D software before but never 3D coding. But the conclusion is I want Trust No One to be a first person RPG visual novel. It honestly seems like a game I'd need to make a team for, I don't know if I could solo dev something like that. But that really depends on how hard events are to program. I've also considered maybe asking freelancers to produce some copy and paste code that I can use to make events/story with in this 3D environment. WORSE comes to worse. I have a 3D environment to make backgrounds with for a standard visual novel. So the exploration isn't leading to a possible dead end.
I looked into RPG maker for something like Corpse Party, and it looks within my skill set. I do love the top down environment but... there's one catch... it has to be pixel art. And don't get me wrong, I love stardew and pixel games, but pixel art is not the direction I wanted to go with this.

Merch Buttons

 Hey just want to let you all know what's going on as it's been a while. 

Love Lock has not passed review yet again 😅 So just sent it off again, hopefully 3rd times the charm. 🤞 

But that is currently the hold up for everyone who has been wanting to buy it on steam instead of itch. 

Keep or Kill is still in testing but nearly there. As for Art it is 5ish CG's away from completion. 

A recent poll on Patreon is helping direct me towards my next project which is likely to be the mailman game or Jason's game as I've had some recent inspiration for him lately.

So while steam and Keep or Kill are in the mix I'll likely start working on some buffer builds for patreon. Just as before it's always a good idea for me to be 1 month ahead of any play testing on Patreon incase my health lands me up unable to produce. (that way patreon's won't be left empty handed) 

Patreon is still going to remain paused until Keep or Kill it out, so I've been logging in every month to pause the billing. I plan on giving an announcement a few weeks to a month before Patreon resumes to let everyone know ahead of time. I wouldn't want it to surprise bill anyone. 

Other then that, in my down time I've been creating the rest of the merchandise I've been wanting to make for bundle purchase. 

Starting with buttons and keychains.

I'm leaning towards the chibi one but my button maker's mold is really big. So I'm on the fence.

Animated CG

 5 / 15 Cgs completed for Keep or Kill.

VA is in now as well though a few lines need redoing for microphone pop/click noises. 

I love that all I have to do is replace art to reuse animations now ❤️ it allows me to give more content without burning out over it. Originally Keep or Kill wasn't going to have any animated CG's but because I'm reusing poses, I might as well reuse the animations too :3
