Updates

I don't really have anything to show but I've got some things to share.

I've recently just got Unknown on the Itch app! As well as creating and testing the Android version. Hopefully it's ready sooner than later. 

With help from you all on Discord I've figured out a way to create a Male version of Umbra! So there's that to look forward to now too :)

I've been in contact with the print shop to do off the first batch of Unknown Keychains! Just in the process of having them look over the design to make sure the colors won't be too dark. It's going to be double sided keychains with him wearing a mask on one side and his face reveal on the other. I redid them from the previous ones above as I wasn't satisfied with the way the legs looked. It looks MUCH better now and dare I say... hot >3> 

The next step in merch will be printing off the rest of the bundle and looking into creating buttons.

Been a while since I've posted. I've been working on Keep or Kill for the rest of this month. Mostly writing but a bit of updating as it's a bit out of date in comparison to what there is in Love Lock. (options for Gender/mini-games/timers/font etc) 

Anyway, now has they/them options.

Less invasive Gender's/Pronouns Menu

Working on a a rough menu idea to pick gender's/pronouns instead of being asked at the beginning if you have a penis or vagina... Cause yikes! That feels so invasive lol. I dislike it so much, though I'm not sure this stick person is doing it for me either lol, I'll likely upgrade it to a silhouette later.

The next big game after Love Lock

So I've talked a bit and thought a lot about what I'm going to do after Love Lock and while I'm on hiatus I decided to expand on the main idea.

I've started up a prototype already, just not sure where pov is going to meet her. (The name is still in progress, I like Emily but the name makes me think of someone I grew up with) 

Anyway, there's always a lot of talk about the gender, as in, "is it gay?", "is it straight?". And I've often tried to explain that you can't change the gender of the characters but you can change the gender of pov. Well with this game I was thinking of making a opposite gender of each character and just go easy on animations/illustrations. 

I've been thinking about a menu screen for pov where you pick the :She/He/They, Chest/Breasts, and Penis/Vagina but also where you can pick your love interests gender WITH a twist for Bi-sexual players as I'm hoping to add a random button so it will just randomize the genders of who's on screen. The stories would be the same though. So Emily/Elizabeth will have the same story as Bert/Seth

So since it deals with hypnosis, I added a "Help" button and there's a trigger in there to use it if you happen you get hypnotized. Where it will then relocate the game to make Damien say time to wake up 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, awake

Endings

 Oh I also went through the majority of all endings so that instead of being blank when locked, they are dimmed making it easier for you guys to look them up in guides later on. Like with what I did for Unknown. Still got a few more characters to do this with but most of them have it now.

Update

 I haven't announced in a while so I thought I'd share a bit of what I'm up to.

One of the things I did was went through David's route and changed all this sprites to reflect what time of day it is (so he's not bright against a dark background) Now that I think about it I wonder if there are other areas of the game that need this.... >.> I just know that David looks quite bright against these backgrounds in particular as there are no street lamps. The paramedic is going to need the same expression.

other than that I haven't been working on anything visual or written. 

I've been mostly adding sound effects, sprites and voice lines to Mark/David and Damien's routes, getting them all polished up and complete outside of finished art.

Visually I worked on adding achievements to each routes and making a better looking achievement screen. (spoilers in the achievement window)

Endings

Mark's route ended up with 34 endings! o.o

I wonder how many endings the game has right now as a whole 🤔 

34 + 28 + 21 +  53 + 9 + 22 + 15 + 21 = 203 endings in total so far.

Writing Progress Chart

 Figured it's about time to update the graphs with the current progress. 

Just got all of Damien's SFX, Voice lines, Status (Sanity, hp, love) Special effects, Transforms, and assets completed. Just music and ambience left to go and then play testing him for errors. So little yet so much lol

Maybe I should make a polished graph for you guys. I have a check list but it's hard to read...

Damien's got 20 endings as a whole. I would show a CG graph but I don't have them all in yet. So this is all for the graphs

Damien Chapter

 I may be over generalizing here but Damien's chapter is like done. There's a LOT of missing written pieces, mostly endings/sex scenes/a few situations, but everything is mostly mapped out and nearly filled in. Everything that connects to everything else is present.
