Really thinking it's a toss up between these two. One is the latin symbol for "or" thats not commonly used anymore.

Such abbreviations typically contained prominent letters of the word, including the initial one. Alternatively I could use the reversed caret ∨ but I kind of like how the other two have crosses in them.
